Full-time Career/Career Conditional The primary purpose of the positions is to work with the Junior and Senior Financial Analyst in the Business Center to provide: support to accounting, budget formulation, justification, and analysis; budget execution; and analysis of financial management records and reports Please refer to Conditions of Employment. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
Perform reconciliation on accounts for the agency programs and make adjustments using established accounting principles, reviews and analyzes financial data for discrepancies from an accounting system and/or process with routine problems and devised a plan for corrective actions.
Act as backup to the Junior Financial Analyst for accounts receivable activities and assisting the AFRH Residents.
Perform root cause analysis on Accounts Receivable delinquencies and collections to ensure corrective actions are taken to resolve issues in a sensitive manner along with Resident Services and Management.
Responsible for compiling, analyzing, and summarizing financial or budget information related to assigned areas of the agency's financial program. Assist in analyzing historical budgetary data in comparison to projected fiscal year program objectives and goals.
Plans, organizes, carries out and coordinates annual and multi-year detailed budget plans, forecasts in support of multiple assigned programs, and monitors budget execution. Recommend adjustments, such as redistribution of funds within budget accounts, in response to changes in programs, staffing levels and or funds available.
The experience may have been gained in either the public or private sector. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized
Experience: For the GS-09, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
participating in financial and program analyses of agency / organizational programs in order to evaluate the effectiveness of policies, procedures and operations
OR
You may substitute education for general or specialized experience as follows:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.B. or J.D., if related.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
