As the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive customer acquisition, and increase market shareUtilize innovative digital and traditional marketing approaches to maximize ROI, oversee market research, and collaborate cross-functionally to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectivesEstablish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign success and continuously optimize marketing efforts for sustained growthESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Plans and directs all aspects of an organization's public relations policies, objectives, and initiativesEnsures that all external communications result in positive public relationsMaintains public good will towards the organizationParticipates in the credit union's long- and short-term strategic planningOversee press releases, media kits, and other materials to effectively communicate key messages to the media and the publicAct as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and interview requests, coordinating responses and preparing spokespeople as neededDevelop crisis communication strategies and serve as a spokesperson during challenging situations to protect the Credit Union's reputationResponsible for the creation of compelling stories and content highlighting the Credit Union's impact, success stories, and community involvement for various platforms and other communication channelsCollaborate cross-functionally to support community outreach initiatives, sponsorships, and events to strengthen relationships with stakeholdersRepresent the Credit Union at relevant industry events, fostering connections and promoting our brand within the communitySets business plans of all responsible departments to align with the credit union's strategic planDirects the overall Marketing Programs to ensure applicable risks are identified, measured, and mitigated appropriatelyCollaborates with other chief level positions on credit union activities to ensure maximum profits commensurate with the best interest of members and employeesEnsures service objectives and credit union goals are attained and deadlines metOversees short and long-range marketing objectives and plan strategies to attain those objectivesResponsible for the Marketing BudgetServes as a member of the Executive TeamParticipates in and/or contributes to the annual credit union strategic planningCommunicates marketing strategy, tactics, and results internallyEnsures the credit union's brand image and standards are maintained in all internal and external communicationsEnsures the development, design, copywriting, and production of all marketing materials annual reports, direct mail, posters, display advertisements, promotional articles, press releases, e-mail communication, etcaligns with the marketing plan and brand standardOversees community giveback programs that promote the Credit UnionEffectively coach staff to meet personal, departmental, and organizational goals, including documenting progress and resultsResponsible for compliance with all Federal regulations including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Miscellaneous duties as assigned by CEOEducation:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Public RelationsExperience and Other Requirements:
Eight to ten years of similar or related experience in marketing, preferably for a financial institution or similar industry Experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a similar role, preferably in the financial services sectorKnowledge of marketing concepts, including planning, segmentation demographics, public relations, database analysis, digital marketing and direct marketing requiredStrong media relations skills and a track record of successful media placements and coverageCrisis management experience with the ability to navigate sensitive situations effectivelyHigh level of creativity, strategic thinking, and the ability to work both independently and collaborativelyMust possess the ability to develop, design, write and implement a comprehensive marketing planExcellent written communication skills required, with the ability to conceptualize, write and edit many types of marketing piecesMust possess strong ability to manage time efficiently by organizing, prioritizing, and delegating functions for the entire departmentStrong ability to communicate effectively required, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of individualsMust possess the ability to effectively oversee many projects simultaneously with a high degree to accuracy, competency, and strong problem skillsExtensive use of personal PC required, with knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint requiredMust be familiar with the credit union's marketing database systemsMust be proficient in use of internet and e-mailMust be able to work a flexible schedule and travel to off-site meetings or training as required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
