Clinical Nurse

As a GS-10 Clinical Nurse, you will:
Provide comprehensive nursing care for the geriatric patients based on the nursing process. Implement the physician and nursing care plan. Transcribe and implement the provider's written orders. Administer medications observing the five rights, apply knowledge of the use and side effects of each medication, and complete the appropriate documentation. Assess and evaluate daily the resident's condition. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.Work requires considerable standing, walking, transferring, bending and lifting in helping residents in and out of bed, changing their positions. Utilization of appropriate body mechanics is mandatory. The incumbent is subject to exposure to communicable diseases. Required to lift up to 50 pounds. Education:
A graduate or higher level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program is required. CPR certification is mandatory. AND Licensure:
RN- For all grade levels and positions, applicants must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination. In addition, they must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Experience:
For the GS-10, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Conducting patient/resident assessment; ANDDeveloping and carrying out nursing care plans; ANDMedication administration (oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal, topical, rectal, intravenous, etc.); ANDCommunicating patient/resident condition and changes to patient/resident, nursing personnel, physicians, and family members. OREducation:
Successful completion of a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree from a professional nursing educational program or related medical science field; orAt least one full year of professional nursing experience (equivalent to the GS-9 grade level) and possession of a diploma, associate degree, bachelors degree, or masters degree from a professional nursing educational program. SPECIAL NOTE:
Long-term care experience and/or interacting with geriatric patients is highly desired.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
